I'm joining Trek10 as a Frontend Engineer after working as a front end developer and manager. I got my start in IT way back in high school, but I never followed through with it as a career. After achieving a Master's of Social Work and pursuing a 10+ year career as a family/marital therapist and supervisor, I realized that while I was solving problems, I was in the wrong field. A year and a half later of self-teaching, and I was professionally developing and supporting healthcare portals.
Outside of programming, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two boys, hanging out with friends, camping/hiking, riding my bike on a trail or around the neighborhood, losing myself in a game, and taking trips to places where the wind doesn't freeze my face.
